Qi wireless charging using another coil

Post by almaz_1c »

Hello.
I try to design qi wireless charger using smaller coil.
Here is coil that I use:
http://www.digikey.com/product-detail/e ... ND/5801533

But, unfortunately LED not lights up when I desolder default coil and use that new coil.
Do I need to change capacitance as calculated on schematic.
I can't understand what is fd, fps, lps, ls.
Which capacitors are AC1 and AC2.
Could someone give me little bit detailed description of required calculations?

Have you checked the datasheet of the wireless receiver ship?

Of course. I try to make it work without luck.
Does part number of the coil that used in Crazyflie 2.0 Qi wireless charger is known?
I am searching for Coil part number that will work with Crazyflie 2.0 Qi wireless charger schematic.
Can someone suggest me?

You probably need to tune the capacitors. Look in the section "Series and Parallel Resonant Capacitor Selection" in the datasheet.

The Qi uses the WR303050-15F5-G coil from TDK.
