Ok, I managed to reproduce the issue. It's the loading of a previous configuration that is broken. If you start a new configuration from the beginning and save it (you have to configure all the axis/buttons) it should work.

Update: Confirming that removing the AppData/Roaming/cfclient directory and then redoing the config and including every single button solved my problem. Cheers everyone!

Now just have to wait for my nano to show up; courier is arriving today =D

win7 64 I cannot get it to recognize the analog sticks on the ps3, everything but the sticks is recognized. :-( tried the fixes I found but not working. going to find my win XP netbook and try again.

Just my two cents : under linux the directory to delete (or rename) is cfclient-2013.4.1/conf
