Onboard sensor failure

Post by dongkyuc »

Hello folks,

I am working on my Crazyflie 2's again after a while, but I found that one of them does not start up properly. I haven't used this particular one that much after purchase, so I suspect that it has faulty sensors. I updated the firmware to the latest one from the iOS client, but the problem still persists. At startup, I get this:

SYS: ----------------------------
SYS: Crazyflie 2.0 is up and running!
SYS: Production release 2021.06
SYS: I am 0x3134383531334703001B0036 and I have 1024KB of flash!
CFGBLK: v1, verification [OK]
DECK_CORE: 0 deck(s) found
MPU9250 I2C connection [FAIL].
AK8963 I2C connection [FAIL].
LPS25H I2C connection [FAIL].
ESTIMATOR: Using Complementary (1) estimator
CONTROLLER: Using PID (1) controller
MTR-DRV: Using brushed motor driver
SYS: About to run tests in system.c.
EEPROM: I2C connection [OK].
STORAGE: Storage check [OK].
MPU6500: Self test gyro X [FAIL]. low: -14.0, high: 14.0, measured: -100.0
SYS: stabilizer [FAIL]

Can you help me with this? Thanks.

Regards,

DC

This one has a faulty IMU, most likely the soldering of the MPU9250 chip has cracked. Please check this post.
