Hi Figgy,

Sorry, that you are having problems with getting the Crazyradio to work.
I guess with "second gen" you refer to the 2014 version of the Moto X?
This phone seems to support USB OTG in general. Did you try attaching any kind of mass storage like a USB flashdrive?
You can also try to install an app called USB Device Info to check if the Crazyradio gets recognized.

This shouldn't be a problem with your phone, but some Android devices do not provide enough power for USB OTG.
Did you try hooking up a powered USB hub to your phone and attaching the Crazyradio to the USB hub? (Instead of a USB Hub, you can also try a USB Y-cable.)

Hope this helps to isolate the problem.

I didn't even see this reply till now. Looks like my phone will not read the CR :( This has been such a sad experience. I switched from an iPhone specifically to be able to fly the Crazyflie with an Android and my phone will not support the dongle or read the CR. I downloaded the App you suggested and it doesn't read the CR. I really appreciate your help.

Hi Figgy,
I doubt that the Moto X does not work with the Crazyradio in general.
Does your Crazyradio work when it's connected to a PC or laptop?
Are you running the latest firmware on the Crazyradio?
Are any of the LEDs lighting up, when you connect the Crazyradio with your phone?

It lights up for a quick second and then turns back off. That is as far as I can get.
