Thanks Tobias! I was not aware I am supposed to remove the plastic cover (or that it is possible )
I fixed the female connectors on the crazyflie itself and it seems to have solved the issue!

Glad it worked out! You don't have to remove the plastic cover, it is possible to adjust the "tongues" with the needle, but I'm happy that way worked for you!
