I am unfortunately having problems with the initial setup of Crazyflies 2.1 and Lighthouse in a new space. I have been playing with the Crazyflies 2.x since mid-September in a space already set up at my university. This is the first time I am attempting to set up a space on my own.
I have built a 3.5 meter wide x 3.5 meter deep x 3.5 meter tall netted cage. I attached 2 HTC Vive Base Stations (v1) diagonally from each other at a height of about 2.7 meters.

Each base station is showing a green light, which according to this article means my Lighthouses are set up correctly.
I am running Cfclient 2018.10-35-g5ab4c28-modified from inside the BitcrazeVM_2018.12.ova virtual machine with Oracle Virtual Box 6.0.12 on a MacBook Pro Early 2011 running MacOS 10.12.6 (Sierra).
I am following the instructions Configure Your Client (https://www.bitcraze.io/getting-started ... fig-client).
From the Virtual Box menu, in Devices, under USB, the following two items have a checkmark next to them:
✓ HTC VRC [0111]
✓ Bitcraze Crazyradio PA USB Dongle [0053]
When I start the Crazyflie Client and select Input Device from the menu, all options are grayed out (unavailable) except for Configure Device Mapping. When I select Configure Device Mapping, the Configure Input Device dialogue starts up. From here, I get stuck and can not go further because the Input Device picklist is empty.
Cannot Configure Lighthouse because Input Device Configuration Picklist is Empty
Re: Cannot Configure Lighthouse because Input Device Configuration Picklist is Empty
Hi,
The lighthouse setup is not happening in the client. You should follow the instructions from the wiki: https://wiki.bitcraze.io/doc:lighthouse:setup
At the end of the setup phase, you should have lighthouse geometry data that you can copy-paste in the Crazyflie firmware code and flash the modified firmware in your Crazyflie.
