Log errors

Hello, I'm new to this kind of software and have some noob questions...
I've been working with some swarm code, and am at the moment trying to get the cf's positions.
I've read in the forum the one way to do it was by using the logger.
I have been getting some errors though, mainly "No LogEntry to assign block to !!!" and "Error 2 when starting id=*** (No such block id)".
I did check the log code to try and figure out what was wrong, but I'm afraid I'm kind of lost, as I've never worked with a logger before...
Could anyone here maybe share some light on what is happening and how I should proceed?
