How can I flash the original bootloader to Crazyflie 2.0?

When I first got the crazyflie I flashed the PX4 flight controller to it, which include flashing a new bootloader.
Now don't want to use PX4, I need to get the original crazyflie bootlader and flight controller flashed back onto it. However, when I follow the 'Getting started with crazyflie 2.X' on the BitcrazeVM, I connect with the bootloader but get 'Programming Failed!' when "Program' is selected. The leds flash randomly, including blue, green and red. Somethings is wrong here.
Is it possible to flash the original bootloader? Dfu mode purhaps?
