Throttle Unresponsive with Android client

Post by ttrickel »

When the Crazyflie is turned on the motors spin but after I connect to the Crazyflie via the Android client the motors will not turn when I increase the throttle.

You can see the power on at: https://skc.wistia.com/medias/y3r1d9bjxu

At the end of the connect sequence the Crazyflie Android client displays "Parameters TOC fetch finished 0".

How do I fix this issue?

Have you tried to fly with another client?

One thing that could prevent the propeller to run is if the sensors are not calibrated: at startup the M1 red LED will blink slowly and after a while, if the Crazyflie is on a stable surface, it will blink faster to indicate that the sensors have been calibrated. Before sensor calibration, the Crazyflie will not fly (or start its motors).

If you are connecting via Bluetooth the message "Parameters TOC fetch finished 0" is normal, parameters are not activated yet via bluetooth they only work when using Crazyradio with an OTG cable.
