Was just given a crazyflie 2.0 by my wife, and I was stoked to get it all set up!
Self test went fine and I got everything assembled. Went to power it on aaaaaand, huh. This is where a power button should be right?
I think this is the header for what is supposed to be a momentary push button right? I shorted it with a wire and sure enough the thing turns on. But I'm having issues with keeping it on and not going into bootloader mode, etc.
I'm pretty certain I didn't pop off the button during assembly. This isn't my first rodeo, and I put it together inside a shallow box for exactly this reason. I don't see a button piece in the box or any of the bags.
Help?
Missing power button?
Re: Missing power button?
f you're handy with a soldering iron, it's a fairly easy fix and a cheap part. Here's a an article I wrote about me replacing a button on the CF1 but it's exactly the same for the CF2.
Incidentally, I did use a jumper to momentarily short for power on/off before I fixed the button.
PS: I moved this to the Crazyflie Support sub-forum.
