Have you tried tapping/banging it as described on the troubleshooting page? It seems to have worked for most accelerometer problems.

Hi,

The button is a push button, so don't try to slide it to the sides. If it's broken off then you can either turn on/off the Crazyflie by shorting the two pads on the button (on the sides) or you can have a look at the spare parts list if you would like to find a new one.

Just got my CF back from Seeedstudio. It works again; however, the only explanation they gave me for the MPU6050 problem was:
About the failure of the MPU-6050, we fix the problem by cleaning the paint on the motor mounter.
I should explain that I had painted bright green nail polish on the M1 motor mount so I could tell which direction was forward. There was no polish whatsoever on the CF board or any other parts. Moreover, it flew normally for awhile before the MPU6050 error message first appeared. The Seeedstudio techs scraped some but not all of the polish off.

Could someone explain how a coat of nail polish on a motor mount can cause the
MPU6050: Self test acc Y [FAIL]. low: 0.300000, high: 0.949999, measured: 0.0
message?

Hello, my CF 10DOF (2nd batch) returned today from its journey for repair by the Seeedstudio CS/QC folks, and is now flying again!

:D

Cheers, Leland

It could be that the Y axis was stuck and during handling/scraping the axis was knocked loose again (there's more info on that earlier in this thread).

I also have this problem which shows "X[FAIL]", and there is some fluid on the surface of MPU6050. I was wondering if anyone has come across same situation with me?
