I just began to use quadcopter, but I am stuck in a problem about how to develop the quadcopter for a while. The problem is if I want the quadcopter to fly automatically with a sensor, including avoiding obstacle, how could I get start? Which platform should I use? Is there any examples that can help me to understand how to do development?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, you are asking a brought and difficult question to answer. There are many technologies and none are perfect and many are heavy. Ultrasound is commonly used and sometimes infrared or laser. Soon short range radar will come which might be an enabler!

I order today my crazyflie
My experience with drones are just with the dji series ( the phantom 2, 3 and inspire)
My goal with the crazyflie is just that, avoid obstacles
I plan to add sonars to the crazyflie (the max possible to the weight)
My goal is not just avoid but to get max stability too
With sonars is possible to improve stability a lot, making possible to put the craziefly in the air in a fixed position without driffting

Soon we will release the multi-ranger deck that would be able to do just this.
