Bigquad and Flow Deck

Post by Harry »

Hi,
What is the difference between Flow Deck and Flow Deck v2?
I tried to to connect the bigquad and flow deck together by remove the capacitor and changed the pins but it did not work. I’m using the original version of Flow Deck. I don’t know if I have to use the Flow Deck v2 in order for it to work?

That should not be a difference between v1 and v2 however for the flow to work with the big-quad deck some HW patching is needed as described here.

I actually did not change the hw patch, but instead I used the jumper wires that connect the IO3 pin from the flow deck to IO1 pin on the CF. I don’t know if this is the right way to do.

Jumper wire sounds like a great and easy way to do it. Did you also do:

2. Not having BQ_DECK_ENABLE_PM defined.
3. Disabling the extRx functionality by commenting out extRxInit() in bigquad.c

Also check the console in the cfclient. The output there might reveal something.
