How to know if flow deck is connected successfully?

Post by addaa »

When I plug in the flow deck, the log is shown as below.
SYS: ----------------------------
SYS: Crazyflie 2.0 is up and running!
SYS: Build 12:967ab7d04d63 (2019.02 +12) MODIFIED
SYS: I am 0x203535523748500700500038 and I have 1024KB of flash!
CFGBLK: v1, verification [OK]
DECK_CORE: 0 deck(s) found
MPU9250 I2C connection [OK].
AK8963 I2C connection [OK].
LPS25H I2C connection [OK].
ESTIMATOR: Using Complementary (1) estimator
CONTROLLER: Using PID (1) controller
EEPROM: I2C connection [OK].
AK8963: Self test [OK].
SYS: Free heap: 16056 bytes

However. when I connect the multi range sensor in the same location using the same pin, it shows 1 deck(s) found.
We guess the flow deck is not connected properly. Is there a way we can check and debug the cause?

Thanks!

Have you double checked that you mounted it the right way?

Possibly the deck connector could have been damaged. We had a few boards in the beginning with damaged connector which is fixable with a needle, see this post. I don't think you have one of those (you had to order them on the release day) but the connector could still be damaged, not so common but it happens.
