crazyflie 2.0 radio problem when motors run

Post by corrado.santoro »

Hi all,

I have a problem with my new crazyflie 2.0: I connect to the quadcopter but when the motors start spin the communication experiences a problem and the software says "Too many packet lost".

I've tried to disconnect the motors or to connect only one and the problem disappear. It seems an interference problem....

I've also tried to change channels and data rate but the problem persists.

The firmware is updated.

Do you have any hint?

Best,

Hi Corrado,

Sorry to hear about your radio problem. It sounds like a hardware issue with your unit. Please fill in this form and we will ship you a replacement board.

It could also be a problem with one of the motors so you can try different setups and see if that helps.

Welcome to the forum Eleanor!

First thing try to switch the radio channel and datarate. Use 2mbit and try different channels e.g 20, 40, 60, 80.

If that doesn't help please fill in the same form linked to from above and we will arrange a replacement board.
