Configure DWM1000 to receive

Post by IDaniele »

Hi,

I'm having troubles configuring the dwm1000 in my drone to receive tdoa packets from the lps node (set up as tdoa mode, id 0).
I tried to copy the configuration from the crazyflie (i.e. locodeck.c and libdw1000.c) but so far I'm not receiving anything.

Sorry, I know this is a really vague question but do you have some advice?

Thank you.

Hi.

Can you maybe add a bit of context. Are you using a DWM1000 on your own PCB or are you using an LPS node or deck we have made?

To receive TDoA packets all you should need is to setup the DW1000 chip in receive mode on the right channel and preamble. You will then be able to receive the packets. If you have LEDs setup on the DWM1000 (like we have on our boards), the RX led should blink when the DWM1000 is waiting for packets, and the SFD and RXOK blinks when a packet has been received successfully.
