I just finished assembling my crazyflie and setting up the input device, everything seems to be working correctly. On power up each of the props spin in the correct orientation. I'm using a PS3 controller and the crazyflie is responsive to thrust inputs. The GUI works as well for pitch/roll/yaw. BUT for whatever reason I can't get it to lift off. I've checked that the propellers are on correctly, each prop is pushing air downward but it doesn't have enough thrust. I've tried putting it up all the way to 99.9% and still just intense vibrating as if its on the brink of lifting off. I'm concerned it might be my soldering job. Here is a picture of the board http://imgur.com/wkGBLG5. Is it possible that the battery isn't delivering enough power to the motors? How can I verify that this is the issue? How can I fix it? It sounds like either the propellers are wrong or the motors are attached wrong, or a combination. Have a look at the assembly instructions again and see if you have attached the wires and/or the propellers correctly. If it seems correct then could you post an image from the top showing how the propellers are attached and also an image from the bottom showing what motors are soldered where, and we will help you to figure out what is wrong.

IMHO, your propellers appear to mounted to rotate backwards, when compared to the picture on the assembly page.

Your photo is looking at the Crazyflie from the opposite side of the circuit board compared the Crazyflie drawing on the assembly page.

Yeah, I think this is the problem.

Have a look at this part of the assembly video (at 4:40). The propellers should be curved upwards, not downwards (when the motor-shafts are facing upwards). If you still have issues then could you take a photo from a 45 degree angle of the boards so it's clear how the propellers are curved?
