Hello,
I am think to power the CF with wires from power supply or power bank. Since it would save both battery weight and no need to charge the battery. Is it plausible? I think with a optical flow module, the propellers won't interface with the wires.

We did a quick test doing this a long time ago and it worked using a short wire ~1.5m. The problem is the resistance in the wire and you don't want to thick/heavy wires. This could be mitigated using higher voltages which in turn would require a transformer or similar solution. Would be fun to try!
