Crazyflie JoyStick control (Thrustmaster)

Post by XeniaFlie »

Hello Crazyfliers

Has anyone managed to get this joystick, along the thrust control, to work with a Crazyflie 2.0?

https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/pro ... hotas4-en/

The joystick is recognized in the client - unfortunately the thrust control is not.

Has anyone had any experience of this before or any suggestions on how to read or remap the thrust control output?

Thanks for the help.

Crazyflier.

Hi,

To verify if the gamepad is compatible with the client you can open it with your OS test tool. On linux you can open it with jstest-gtk and on windows there is a configuration tool called "Setup USB game controllers". With those tools you can move all the axis of your gamepad and see that they are all working.

The client requires all the axis to be in the same device, maybe your gamepad+thrust is seen as 2 devices?
