Hi Proplane,

We have released an update to the nRF51 firmware only due to a bug with the sleep current. Since the Crazyflie STM firmware has been in high flux lately (ie. for example altitude hold was broken) we did not update it in the 2016.09 zip. This is why the STM32 firmware is still with version 2016.09.

That was a paste from cflie PC client Console tab - after attempting to update FW to 2016.11. My question is, if successful in updating FW to 2016.11, why does Console say 2016.09?

If the flash was successful and your Crazyflie restarted then yes the update was successful.

The console in the client is displaying text coming from the STM32 CPU of the Crazyflie and this CPU was not updated in the 2016.11 release. This is why you see misleading version number.
