Intel x Bitcraze Crazyflie???

Post by Nano Blitz »

What if Bitcraze replace ARM 32-bit Cortex-M3 microcontroller with low-power, 32-bit Intel® QuarkTM microcontroller 384kB flash memory, 80kB SRAM? The possibilities will be endless. For one, it could open the door to create a autonomous/FPV drone to play in laser tag games, paintball matches and in other extracurricular activities.

We have been looking a bit at the Quark but as there are no datasheets for it yet we don't know the feasibility. As of now I can't see any real benefit of using the Quark compared to the STM32F4 we have in Crazyflie 2.0. Maybe you have some insight?
