External sensors

Post by ddollar »

Is it possible to attach additional sensors to the Crazyflie and then have their readings sent over additional channels of the Crazyradio? Anyone have some links I can check out to point me in the right direction?

By additional channels do you mean, over the on board transmitter, but on a different frequency, or by an entire new Tx/Rx network?
I think I would prefer the CF client to integrate more sensor reading, so everything would have to go through the on board stuff.

I read somewhere that the Crazyradio can do 125 channels of data. I'd like to use one or more of them to send back more telemetry from other things that I add.

The paper linked at the bottom of this article is a great place to start for anyone wanting to do this:

Hi,

If you add extra sensors all you have to do is to implement the firmware to read them and then use the logging functionality to get the data to the PC.
