Hey, I just saw these batteries on Amazon which look exactly like the ones for the Crazyflie. Are they equivalent? http://www.amazon.com/240mah-Flight-Bat ... san+240mah
I also saw these bigger ones, are they also likely to be compatible? The connector looks the same in both cases, and they're all 3.7V LiPo. http://www.amazon.com/Combo-Tenergy-Bat ... y_t_text_y Might be nice to have slightly longer capacity (though perhaps diminished by the increased weight; I've already stuck on the Neopixelring so I'm hurting for runtime a bit already :/ ).
Thanks!
Replacement Batteries
Re: Replacement Batteries
Bumping this topic, since I would like to have a few spare batteries too.
I have the cf 1.0 DOF. The wiki states that the battery used it the 671723HS25C from fullriver. I could not find a place that sells this exact battery.
Seed studio seems to sell that battery under a different(?) name: Crazyflie Nano Quadcopter - Spare battery (BC-BL-01-A).
I was in the process of checking out two of these, until I saw the calculated shipping costs to europe...
So I am looking for good alternative battery models which are easily sourceable.
Maybe some of the people in the know/with experience can help us out?
What about the suggestions made by @ibrahima?

Re: Replacement Batteries
Yes they are most likely equivalent. There should be a PCM (protection circuit) which they do not specify and which is important. It should be under the black tape part but its hard to tell if it is there. Are they equivalent? http://www.amazon.com/240mah-Flight-Bat ... san+240mah
Yes most likely. If you want it to fit between the expansion connectors is shouldn't be wider then 20mmI also saw these bigger ones, are they also likely to be compatible?

Re: Replacement Batteries
I have a Dell rechargeable battery Lithium-Ion 3.7V rating, 7WH capacity, Type # P9110 (2008 Rev A02) from a Dell/Google server. Okay to use in place of Crazyflie 2.0 default/stock battery? Pics: http://peterorrick.com/a/batt

Re: Replacement Batteries
I've had good luck with batteries claiming to be replacements for the Hubsan X4. Heed Tobias' warnings about the PCM though.

Re: Replacement Batteries
Dell battery was indeed too heavy at 15g+.
A few add'l battery Qs:
1. In place of the stock lipo battery, can we use:
1a) normal AA/AAA batteries?
1b) circular watch batteries?
1c) circular hearing aid batteries?
2. Can we use solar power to recharge the stock lipo battery?
Thank you in advance!
