Possible to fly using Crazyflie client alone?

Since I still haven't picked up a PS3/Xbox controller yet, I'm wondering if it's possible to fly the nanocopter simply using the client software?

Not yet but making it controllable by a keyboard/mouse shouldn't be to difficult to implement if someone is up for it.

I was about to suggest this for testing - finished building and couldn't immediately do the PS3 control.
Maybe a brief guide to run the test app that took the rawinput and made that be the thrust?
