Crazy Radio PA's Telec Certification in Japan.

Post by Kyoya »

Hi bitcraze team,

We are drone company in Japan and we have crazyflie in our hands.
There is a huge demand for a drone-show using crazyflie in Japan,
but we are not able to use it because the Crazy Radio PA doesn't have telec certification in Japan.
(*We understand that crazyflie have passed the telec in Japan, but not crazy radio PA. )
We would like to solve this problem.

As a premise, all modules that emit radio waves and electronic signals are needed to pass telec certification in Japan.
(*otherwise we will be arrested by using it)

Are there any reasons why you are not taking telec of crazy radio PA?
If you wish to, we can help you taking telec of crazy radio PA in Japan.

Regards,
tobias

Hi Kyoya,

There has been partial certification (like project based) of the Crazyradio PA in Japan. We had to lower the output power though since there is no channel hopping now and had to do some small changes to share the address etc but we made it pass.

Historically we have not done it since it is a development product where the protocol might change etc but I think it is a good idea to have a certified "base" version. Could you email us and we can setup a meeting to discuss it more?
