Re: Lost Crazyflie in high grass

I just opened that tag up and took it apart (as far as reversibly possible). It's powered by two 1.5V coin cells (SG10, 72mAh each, according to the product specs the tag should run 2-9months on that). Shaving the weight of those coin cells plus the plastic case off (all in all 4.06g) we come out at...

Re: LCD Screen on Headless client

Very cool! I also thought about something like this, had a Graphical LCD in mind with the horizon and further telemetry data on it. Even got the LCD, but haven't found the time yet to tinker with it -- the usual problems ;)

Is the source of your modified client available somewhere?

Re: How To Fly CF with Android & Macbook?

You seem to be running into this problem for which there is a solution here . I can't test out the steps completely myself right now (my own controller refuses to be recognized by Virtualbox as it is captured by the host system and all USB filters in the world don't seem to prevent that...), I'll tr...

Moved to the Crazyflie > Development sections, since this is CF specific (and not targeting quadrocopters in general) :)

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors

Depends.. if you want to tinker around with it programmatically, the antenna is probably the better idea. If however you want to experience a superb flying stability, the R/C is definitely worth the money ;) Might even be possible to use the 4-channel version (you only need 4 channels anyway for fly...

Re: [SOLVED] Broken one of the arms

but usually if i'm "very unlucky" with a product i buy in a store, i can refund/return/exchange it! Try that with an R/C heli you crash and break in the process... That aside though I can assure you, breaking arms on that thing are very very uncommon from what we have seen here so far, an...

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors

Unless I'm utterly mistaken, yes. Regular SMA has the thread on the inside of the connector (outside of the antenna), reverse polarity is just the other way round.
