Re: Using v2 lighthouses facing upwards

Hello. I have been refreshing my knowledge on rotation matricies and wanted to propose a better way to mesh these coordinates together. If we took three readings from get_bs_geometry.py in three seperate positions. we could chain the reference frames together right? (it has been a long time since I ...

Re: Voltage sag on old batteries resetting the LH deck

Ok great to hear! I would like to also add my two fixes to reduce the chances of this bug happening. 1) add the cut out voltage in the firmware. the critical sag voltage added in a previous post has been working well. somewhere between 2.65 and 2.7 catches most of the faults. 2) gradual take off of ...

Re: Logging validAngles resets the cf

Thanks, rather than start a new issue I thought I would comment on issue 679 instead( https://github.com/bitcraze/crazyflie-firmware/issues/679 ) Also, if you do git rid of validAngles, I think my code would become clunky. I am moving to a multi lighthouse setup and want to make sure that the logged...

Logging validAngles resets the cf

Hello.

Looging validAngles in a script or just turnign it on as a logged block in the client resets the crazyflie. Is this a bug with this new variabe?
It has been very handy so far through the LED ring I want to use it in my scripts.

Cheers

Re: Using v2 lighthouses facing upwards

Hi Kristoffer! Thanks for the reply. I have three Q. 1) what do you mean by using channels 0-3 (1-4 in the lighthouse GUI). Are you reffering to the HTC software? 2) In a larger system where all base stations are not visible from the origin, it is possible to make multiple measurements with the Craz...

Re: Charging unprotected batteries via USB.

Hi Tobias,

Thanks for the suggestion. I implemented the code, the 'pmSystemShutdown' function did not seem to be able to be called unless I uncommented the line below from the config.h file.

Code: Select all

#define ACTIVATE_AUTO_SHUTDOWN

Voltage sag on old batteries resetting the LH deck

Hey all, This is not as much as a problem as it is a PSA for anyone experiencing the same kind of phantom bug that I thought I had. After take off with an LH deck, the CF would drift away and crash. All logged raw angles would just repeat themselves even though the lighthouseses were in plain sign o...

Re: Charging unprotected batteries via USB.

Thanks very much for the info, I think I will start with the STM32, as it is vaguely familiar to me. in pm_stm32f4.c line 149 there seems to be the beginnings of a ACTIVATE_AUTO_SHUTDOWN condition, Is this the reason why the CF just tries to restart itself indefinately when the batt is critically lo...
