Locatino of RX/TX chip on the PCB?

Where on the PCB are the RF signals entering/exiting? I'm having interference issues when using a larger battery/higher power setting. Reception drops out and CF hits the ceiling. Not the case with other, smaller batteries. I don't have KiCad, so I can't really pull up the schematic. Thanks for any ...

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors

Concur w/ Karvan. I had a LiPo fry on my when I was swapping connectors. When outside of the plastic JST-ZSH connector, the two metal leads can accidentally touch eachother, causing a short. I got sparks and the insulation on the black and red wires immediately melted off in a gloopy mess. Then I bu...

Re: Flipping

Ben, Not sure if there's a enough thrust for the flie to recover after the momentum of the drop. Mapping one of the D-pad keys would require re-coding. If you haven't already, I would increase the max thrust limit from 80 to 99.9 and see if that allows you to recover before hitting the floor. You're...

Re: Raspberry Pi X-Mode

Did you ever get this issue resolved? I'm trying to change the max thrust parameter in the headless client from 80 to 99. Is there a corresponding parameter in commander.py I can change?

Thanks

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Sweet! Your work inspires me to go get the same parts and try it for myself. One question: How long is your flight time with FPV going on the stock battery? I imagine it shortens a bit. May consider a larger battery. This one works great because you can swap out the leads and connect the battery wit...

Re: Tethered flight

What about tethering to a power source? Imagine some lightweight wire connecting to battery terminal or USB charging port. 30 gauge wire is really tiny and can carry a max of 10A. Might be a good solution to build your around-the-room flying skills with unlimited flying time. Will the logic on the c...

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors

Great work! A couple thoughts: Battery I'm flying my double motor CF now with a 600mAh battery : Weight - 13g Flight time - 10 minutes at hover w/ 82% thrust Motors are warm but not hot after 10 minutes of flying Can probably support 1-3 extra grams of payload for a camera, when allowed to fly over ...

Re: Adding a camera (worklog)

Great work! You're the first hacker to vouch for FPVhobby.com equipment (except for tobias). Also great to hear the stock battery can support flight w/ FPV. Check out my thread on double motors here . I'm flying my double motor CF now with a 600mAh battery , which weighs 13g and gets me 10 minutes o...
