You can use the logging subsystem for that.
Take a look at the "Log TOC", "Log Blocks" and "Plotter" tabs In the Crazyflie Python client.

Hi,
Root is only required if you use a PS3 controller with the Sixaxis app.
Dedicated controllers for Android should work without root.
Please let me know if you have tested one of these controllers, so I can add the info to the wiki.
