Re: Crazyflie stability
I'm pretty certain this is because the Crazyflie sometimes is outside the stability zone, the motors are then unable to produce the thrusts that are necessary to stabilize it. One reason is because the output of one or more motors is reaching max or zero which can happen e.g. when the Crazyflie desc...

Re: Lost Crazyflie in high grass
We have actually been thinking of making a "come find me mode". It is possible to make a sound using the motors. It is not super loud but it should be possible to hear it from a couple of meters away. Putting it on the wishlist.

Re: Trouble flashing firmware
Just to check one thing. When you connect the Crazyradio do the red and green led turn off or are they constantly on? You might have managed to put the Crazyradio in bootloader mode.

Re: DualShock control isn't sent to Crazyflie 10DOF?
When you press the connect button do you get an alternative similar to "radio://0/10/250K"?
In the log I can see that you have connected to the debug://0/0 driver which is only there to test the UI and doesn't connect to the Crazyflie.

Re: I want to add a camera
Today I did some further testing of my FPV setup as described earlier. This time I added an 22uH inductor to the power supply line before the camera and now the video quality when flying is a lot better. Almost no distortion :). We are getting closer to a good FPV setup. I didn't have any small indu...

Re: Connection problem after flashing the firmware
Well it shouldn't be possible to break the bootloader so let's try to solve that first. It could be some HW problem but let's assume there isn't right now.right, I don't have one, but it looks like it is the only option if I'm not able to connect via radio (getting connection timeout error)

Re: Problem with the Crazyflie
KOschi, do you have access to any other operating system or maybe other computer? It might be an issue with the VMware usb backend so we would like to take that out of the picture.

Re: keyboard as controller
I like you analysis Rich! I see a a future usage though, something we where trying to achieve in a master thesis: http://www.bitcraze.se/2012/06/camera-addon-master-thesis/. In FPV flight it would be much like a "first person shooter" game and you could map the controls of the Crazyflie pr...
