Re: CrazyradioPA isn’t recognised on Mac or PC.

Hi, Your first screenshot seems to be taken on a mac, not on Windows. The second one hints of a problem with the gamepad and not with the radio, it comes from the gamepad being disconnected. Does the radio appears in the USB menu of VirtualBox in both windows and Mac? The USB device needs to be manu...

Re: question about log period_in_ms and commander.send_setpoint function

Ho, I see, then this is a bit of a different problem. My guess is that things are queuing-up in the Crazyflie because of a lack of bandwidth and you are getting delayed measurement. I am not sure how this can be verified though, maybe one way would be to timestamp the log packet when they arrive in ...

Re: Cannot build firmware

Thanks for the update. I think we will remove the cygwin instruction and replace them with WSL. However, we sill need to solve the flashing part through wsl. Right now the only solution to develop with wsl is to make in wsl and flash using the python-implemented cfloader command in windows (it is in...

Re: question about log period_in_ms and commander.send_setpoint function

No, it is not higher on USB since it is using exactly the same log protocol. The minimum logging period is already documented in the lib (https://www.bitcraze.io/documentation/repository/crazyflie-lib-python/master/user-guides/python_api/#variables-and-logging) however it could indeed be more clean ...

Re: Help controlling Crazyflie using Web Bluetooth API

This is very cool indeed! I have been playing before with webUSB that also works to control the Crazyflie using the Crazyradio dongle, but its really cool that the web bluetooth API is actually working! One note: it is enough to send only one packet with 0 thrust as long as you continue sending setp...

Re: install cflib

Hi, Can you please give us a bit more information about what you are trying to achieve and how. Most important information are: - What OS are you running - What do you want to do - What steps have you followed so far - At what step are you blocked, what was the command and what is the error message ...

Re: Access to tick from another source file.

When transfering a single word of data from one thread to another you could just declare it as extern, without needing to use a pointer, log or anything else: // In stablizer.c: uint32_t my_tick; // in another file extern uint32_t my_tick; // From here, accessing my_tick does access the my_tick vari...

Re: TOC problem

Hi, Unfortunately the only document for the log variables so far is the Crazyflie source code. We have been talking about adding comments to the logs and param (including units and enum name for the variables that are enums), but this is still in the (long) todo list... One thing that may help you i...

Re: Some questions while using Lighthouse distance measuring

I am a bit curious of how you achieve distance measurement to an obstacle with UWB (ie the LPS deck)? Are you maybe using the multiranger deck instead? In either case, the way to go is to make an out-of-tree app, you can make an app for the Crazyflie and pull the Crazyflie firmware as a subrepos. An...
