Re: PS3 controller profile

Can someone put a good working profile for a genuine PS3 controller? So I can upload into the client There should be two different included (mode one will have roll/pitch on the left stick and thrust/yaw on the right). But if you are on Windows 7/8 using MotionJoy you have to configure the device t...

Re: What should happen when I turn it on?

Yes, all of the 4 motors should spin when you power it on. Be careful when soldering so you don't short circuit the motor pads to the resistor net for the regulator. Have a look at this post. An remember to disconnect the battery when soldering.

Re: ESKY Transmitter

Hi, I have my cf UI including ps3 controller up and running, but since I am still waiting for my cf to be delivered (and wonder why it takes so long just for me), I am not able to test it now. From what I understand there was a lot of parcels leaving China around the May Day holiday so there seems t...

Re: Bricked flie .. howto recovert

Did you compile with make cload=1 or just make all? I had a similar thing happen to me. I thought I bricked it but when making a binary file that can be bootloaded through the Crazyradio you need to do a make cload. Good point. I've just pushed a changeset to make CLOAD=1 default since most people ...

Re: Bricked flie .. howto recovert

We are lagging a bit on instructions on how to set up the debug environment. But the easiest is to wait a bit until we created the next version of the Bitcraze VM, it will include the debug environment (using openocd/gdb/eclipse) and it will all be pre-configured to work out-of-the-box with the Craz...

Re: Bricked flie .. howto recovert

Hi phiamo, It's ok, you can still use the bootloader to flash firmware. The quick flashing of the green/red LED you see is the bootloader running. Just do a normal cold-boot like described here and it should come alive again. Try the stock firmware found here . When the Crazyflie is powered on the f...

Re: Motors dislocating when crashing the CF

Hi alex,

You could try something like this to protect the motors and make the landing a bit smoother.

Re: Broken one of the arms

Sorry to hear about the arm! One trick that we have used in the past is to drop by a hobby-shop (or RC-shop) and pick up either a circular pipe or a square pipe (they usually have really small dimensions) and cut it to a centimeter of length. Put the pipe half way onto the PCB part, put some glue in...

Did you manage to solve this? If not, could you try inserting the dongle into a different USB port?
