Re: Advanced method to connect the motors to the board

Ive already had to swap out two motors due to issues with them... I think i solder the motors for first tests directly on the board till i find a better solution for this. If i find a vendor i'll post it here or i try to build a solution by my own, i will think about this and try some ideas this we...

Brushless Controller

Hey all, i'm interested in switching to brushless motors, build a big frame for the crazyflie and use bigger LiPos to increase the flight time. In this post http://forum.bitcraze.se/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=4&p=7&hilit=motors+power#p7 Arnaud posted that Tobias tested controlling brushless con...

Advanced method to connect the motors to the board

Hello, i got my crazyflie last week but i'm in a dispute with myself about the soldering of the motors directly to the board. Soldering itself is not the problem but i rather don't want to solder the motors directly to the board because i think solder an maybe unsolder for later modifications are un...

Re: Pitch mapping

Well, I do push it to the max, I'm using the PS3 controller and I check the software and i can see that the input is moving to the maximum displacement, I even re-calibrated the controller in software. I think i had a similar problem, which stick do you want to control the pitch? I had problems so ...

Re: How to get the PS3 controller running

I want to set the config of the controller to left stick back/forward: Thrust +/- left stick left/right: Yaw +/- right stick back/forward: Pitch +/- right stick left/right: Roll +/- The Problem is that right stick back/forward is not recognized by the Crazyflie PC client, i'm using a original PS3 co...

Re: Problems with German customs to be expected? :-/

Hello, i'm also from germany and was worried about the customs, too. I searched the seeedstudio forum about that topic and found this post (ordered the second batch): After talking with Seeed, we have established a simple procedure for proper declaration of registered mail shipments that works well ...

Re: Rotor Colour

I think the LEDs on the crazyflie help much more to orientate than colored rotors, the rotors spin very fast, i don't think that it would be possible to see much of them. If the LEDs are hard to see in daylight some neoncolored tape would do it, but i wouldn't tape it on the rotors, better on the fr...

Re: Additional data transfer (camsignal for example)

Wow, thanks for the reply! The report is really detailed, nice work. I think in the first step after getting in the code i will try to build a bigger custom frame with brushless motors, speed controllers and a bigger battery for the crazyflie so the size and the weight of the cam is no more such a b...
