This should be fixed now in this PR, which has been merged. But there's still some intermittent performance issues for the WiFi, but not at all as severe as before. There's a new issue (#12) for the performance.

Let me know if the new changes fixes you issue.

After some more digging there seems to be another issue as well, the priority improves it but there's some other unknown problem.

Could you try to configure the access point without a password to see if this makes any differance?

I finally got some time to look at this and it seems to be caused by the WiFi not sending data fast enough. No idea why sending the data via UART effects this, I'm still digging around. But it seems as if it got much better by increasing the priority of the WiFi sending task. If you want to test edi...

Ah, I missed the app part...

I've tested this and it doesn't slow down over time, do I need to do anything to trigger it? Does this output look ok?
