Re: How To Fly CF with Android & Macbook?
I have spent countless hours trying to go through the virtual box and figure out how to make the settings work but to no avail. I really am at a complete loss how this is so complicated and how there are no answers. I feel at this point I might have to sell my CF =(. I really wanted to fly this so ...

Re: Connect motors with pin headers?
How much weight does that add? Out of curiosity I looked around for something like those little cable clamps (where you push in a small screwdriver to open a spring mounted clamp thingy, push the blank cable in and remove the screwdriver again, thus "trapping" the cable), but I guess in th...

Re: How To Fly CF with Android & Macbook?
This part is not needed for the CF to function (it's a debug connector so to say and just added for convencience if you want to develop stuff on the CF platform) Are you sure you have selected the "radio:" entry for connecting and are connected (see the description by zak again)? If you cl...

Re: Construction
For me the motor mounts all reach up to the "i". Battery is fixed with velcro, taking care to place it in the middle. While the CF is drifting quite badly when using a game controller it's close to perfectly stable with no input when using the R/C transmitter. I think (from my personal exp...

Re: Connect motors with pin headers?
You'll need a very small pitch (~1mm? have neither the calipers nor the CF at hand right now to measure), and with the connectors being on the bottom it might get tricky to find something keeping some clearance to the ground if the CF is sitting on it. Plus: weight. I'd also be a bit worried about t...

Re: Cannot open Crazyradio [Errno 40] [Win7 x64]
Thanks foosel! So you installed the driver, installed the CFClient, and it just worked? No other tweaks or anything needed? Indeed Also, do you have any other installation of Python and Pyusb on your machine? (there could be some 64bit/32bit missmatch) Maybe it's worth mentioning that my default py...

Re: Camera specs for using FPV camera
Voltagewise you should be fine, however the current draw by the transmitter module might make this module unfeasible... Let's see if I can get this math down (it's been a while for me too, so if anyone now reads the following and bursts out laughing, please also correct it and not just roll on the f...

Re: drone does'nt fly :(
The wiki already states, in the assembly instructions, step 9, what prop to mount on which motor, what way they are supposed to be facing, to look for the A, that they come separated by direction in two different packs.
