Re: No red and green lights when starting cf
Hi This is the photo: P_20180406_100608_r.jpg Everything looks OK, I think. I planned to reinstall the whole firmware. Unfortunately, the solders of the usb connector of my cf are broken. Not long ago, I could only fly by changing the battery. So, to reinstall firmware, I think I have to use a JTag ...

No red and green lights when starting cf
Hi
Not long ago, a new problem appears: when I start cf, M1 red light does not light up.
How can I know if it is a hardware problem or a software one.
BR

Re: Repairing battery electrical connection
Hi Concerning solder a cable through the holes of the breadboard should be much better, but as the cable was cut at the soldering point, a bit of wire stayed in the hole and I did not succeed removing it with my vacuum tool. Concerning the length, it can be shorter, if it is really very flexible to ...

Hi I continue testing cf behaviour. 1-I tested my cf with zranger. But in console display, estimator 1 is indicated. So the flight does not mean anything for the point. 2-I made firmware with config.mk and Kalman filter. But in console display estimator 1 is still shown...? Mainly firmware commit af...

[SOLVED] Repairing battery electrical connection
Hi * One of the weakest parts in my crazyflie is the electrical connection with the battery. I had discussions on the subject. But very often the battery junction cable with the battery failed low to the breadboard... I tested a rough solution by soldering a piece of copper on the connection. It fai...

Stability of flight with Kalmann filter
Hi Fly Crazyflie at height lower than 10 cm is sometimes difficult. It is known in aircraft theory that ground can induce specific effects for low altitude flights. It is the "ground effect". For Crazyflie, low altitude means roughly 10 cm. You can have sometimes the feeling that cf is jus...

Re: Client freeze
Hi One month later, after many flights, I had a problem with LPS25H pressure sensor. It did not calibrate, clearly broken. So, I inhibited LPS25H in firmware (in .../src/hal/drc/sensors_cf2.c). Then, high surprisingly, I lost my instabilities of roll rate, which drove to freeze the control of cf2. I...

Re: Atmosphere and gravity modelling for CrazyFlie2
Very interesting post! I wrote a post about atmospheric formula in firmware, dated Mon Dec 18, 2017 4:30 pm. But your question is more general and interesting. As I am aerospace engineer, I will have a look at. It should be easy to introduce air gravity and gravity quantity (Mars ?) in the flight fo...
