Re: So what is client side x-mode
AAAAAH! I always assumed that mode would re-calculate the x/y controls based on the rotation of the CF. What about a firmware update that adds rotation aware controls? You could store the current yaw when turning on the flie and then re-calculate all commands according to that rotation. The only pre...

Re: Crazyflie 2 doesn't hover?
For me the balancing with tape has helped enormously. In the beginning I could not manage to keep the CF2 in the air at all. But after the balancing, a stable hover is very possible, although it needs a bit of practice. By now I can also do stuff like landing on a 10x20cm cardboard box. I use a Logi...

Re: First run
New horizons in location tech out of Ireland: This is interesting, I've asked for the weight... http://www.decawave.com/products/dwm1000-module That looks *very* interesting. Do you already know the pricing? How many of these transceivers do you need for a positioning system? Maybe we should move t...

Re: First run
Goal: making the CF2 fly/patrol 'autonomously' through my house. For that you will need some kind of positioning system. For example a few Kinects spread throughout your house and controlling software. Or multiple webcams and good image processing. Right now the CF2 doesn't even support good altitu...

Re: Raspberry Pi turns of when plugging in Crazyradio
It's the new Crazyradio that came with the Crazyflie 2.0, so I assume it's the PA version
It does a reset, not a poweroff.

Re: First flight: Crazyflie goes wild, now no telemetry or f
Something similar happened to me recently with cfheadless. I forgot to plugin in my game controller, so the client used my wireless mouse/keyboard as "joystick" instead. With this configuration, the throttle was set to 100% immediately. Fortunately the CF was held back by the USB cable tha...

Raspberry Pi turns of when plugging in Crazyradio
My Raspberry Pi turns off every time I plugin the crazyradio dongle.
What is the initial current draw? Did anyone else experience this issue?
I'm using a 2A power supply, so in theory current should not be a problem... :/

Mapping keys to parameters
Is there a way to map keys to arbitrary parameters?
E.g. I'd like to turn on the headlight or change the LED effect using my gamepad.

Re: [Hover] Selecting an ultrasonic sensor and interface
Did you get it to work? Today I started putting a low-cost HC-SR04 on my crazyflie 2.0, until I discovered that it runs on 5V without 3V support :( The sensor is very cheap (~4$) and provides good results. Would there be a way to transform the 3V on the Crazyflie to 5V in order to use this sensor? T...
