Re: Motors facing up or down??
Motors facing up or down doesn't change performance. The position of the motor is irrelevant to the aerodynamic effects of the prop. In real airplanes, most aircraft have props that are pulling instead of pushing, but that's because the plane balances better when the engine is in front. The only rea...

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors
I tried switching to 2M, using various channels but that did not work. The CF lost signal as soon as I got a few feet away from the crazyradio. Considering the camera draw is 180mA, should I switch the camera's power source to VCC (rated up to 200mA), or would that not help? I guess I would run the ...

Re: Crazyflie w/ Double Motors
Tobias/everyone, I'm still working on my double-motor configuration w/ FPV. Double motors allows me to carry a 600mAh battery and fly for over 10 minutes! I took your advice and used the VCOM (Pin# 16) and DGND for my FPV transmitter that I bought from FPVhobby.com. After hearing that 2.4Ghz can cau...

Re: Ruby client for Crazyflie (Crubyflie)
Hi All I'm using the crubyflie Ruby library on OSX, and seem to have successfully installed all the dependencies: However when I try and connect to the crazyflie over the USB radio I get the following error message: LIBUSB::ERROR_NO_DEVICE in libusb_set_configuration Emson, I had the same problem w...

Re: Raspberry Pi X-Mode
hsanjuan, thanks for suggesting your Ruby client. I'm no programmer, but I was able to install your Crubyflie client on my R-Pi using your instructions and some additional tweaking of the file: /root/bin/cfheadless so that it points to crubyflie instead of the python cfheadless client. Now the Cruby...

Re: Working Hover Mode - quick and dirty
Great work owmdunkley! The only thing I can contribute is that I've seen people tape a small piece of cotton/foam to the baro chip on other controllers (arducopter). This blocks the chip from sensing momentary pressure deviations from wind, prop wash, etc. while still permitting an accurate static a...

Re: Raspberry Pi X-Mode
What about changing the thrust limit on the headless client? When I use my RPI to fly my CF, I'm always limited to 80% thrust and the default roll/bank limits. Can I change these parameters in the code?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Too many packets lost error
Could you post a pic of your new antenna setup? I'm considering modding the stock ceramic antenna w/ a RHCP clover leaf or skew planar wheel and am curious to see where your soldering points were.
Thanks!
Thanks!
