Re: motor ratio to rpm
Hi, I am afraid there is not practical way to find exactly such formula. Crazyflie is using brushed DC motors and in theory (from what I remember from school) the revolution speed would be directly proportional to the voltage applied to the motor (w = k.V) However the factor k will be different for ...

Re: temperature sensor on quadcopter
Hi Steve, Great, I hope you will have some fun with your Crazyflie. The board contains 2 sensors, Google helps to find the manufacturer datasheets: https://www.adafruit.com/datasheets/BST-BMP180-DS000-09.pdf and http://cache.freescale.com/files/sensors/doc/data_sheet/SHT21.pdf As for the range the l...

Re: Help to make crazyflie more stable
Hi, Nice to hear that you solved it! We have measured the motor power at some point but I am not sure how it was done, Tobias knows but he is now in vacation... Anyway, there is no electronic on the Crazyflie to measure the electric power consumed by the motors, so this measurement was done off-line...

Re: Bitbucket to GitHub Transition
Hi, Sorry, I did not see that it was for the bootloader, it has not been touched for a while (it just works ...). The script would only modify src/version.c. For the bootloader if the script fails then the build will just use the original src/version.c (that contains empty version string) and the bu...

Re: Help to make crazyflie more stable
Hi, Does it hang as well when the copter is hovering? If so it could just be the accelerometer calibration that is a bit off. You can trim it in the GUI and you can write trimming values in the copter using the bootloader and config block. If it is only drifts when accelerating try to check the prop...

Re: Crazyflie Nano and Remote Control
Hi, 1) Yes tracking the Crazyflie with OpenCV and a reb ball has been done: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzFwg2Fpv4E. Since that first try, there has been other people doing a much better job like Oliver Dunkley here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zlpJ9Yo93U. We have also seen people using a v...

Hi,
Could you copy-paste the about box debug tab when connected to the firmware so that I can see if I can reproduce the bug.

Re: Crazyflie Mapping?
Hi, I guess you are talking about autonomously flying the crazyflie without user input. Without extra sensor it is not possible, the copter has to locate itself in the room. We have seen a couple of people getting the Crazyflie autonomous. Among others the is a control from a kinect camera: https://...

Re: temperature sensor on quadcopter
Hi, Yes it is right, the temperature measurement of the Crazyflie is just a by-product of the pressure sensor which is used to measure altitude. It is used in the videos as an example of a simple sensor value that one would want to get to the ground. There is no humidity sensor on-board. The way to ...

Re: Tiny Solar Panel (size of the circuit board)
This solar panel is bigger than the Crazyflie, so it would be really hard to make it fly (and its weight would be too high as well).
