Can't communicate with the STM32 after SWD flashing/debugging the NRF51
Hey Bitcraze & Forum Yesterday I spent some time using SWD/JTAG to flash and step through some NRF51 code to take a deeper look at UART timing for syslink messages. I used SWD and the debug adapter (jumper set to 'SWDIO' per the instructions) to flash firmware built with "S110=0 BLE=0"...

Re: NRF51 JTAG problems
Solved my own problems with some trial and error :) #1: Yes, this works fine. The pin nearest the "P1" label on the debug board corresponds to the pad closest to the front of the crazyflie. They go in order from there. #2: Through trial and error it appears this is a power draw problem -- ...

NRF51 JTAG problems
Hey Forum Couple questions regarding NRF51 JTAG using the debug adapter kit (with the RST button jumper set to SWDIO) 1) I accidentally ripped a pads off the tiny little JTAG adapter board that solders on to the pads on the main CFlie board. I should be able to solder the ends of jumper wires betwee...

Re: Tuning crazyflie for smooth, stable and responsive flight
I haven't done a whole lot with this effort in a while now -- I got a bit sidetracked getting betaflight and cleanflight running on the quad, and then some other life stuff took up most of my time for a while. But I'm back now, and ready to dive back in to improving performance and stability. I'm go...

Re: Tuning crazyflie for smooth, stable and responsive flight
@theseankelly When you say to change lines 70 and 71 and rebuild, what exactly do you mean? I changed the values and reflashed the firmware, but I have a funny feeling I'm being a silly goose about this and that I need to recompile something, I'm just not sure exactly how to go about it :/ Thanks i...

Re: Communication to the STM32 fails -- something's broken
Makes sense. As you say, I guess DFU and SWD modes should work even if the external crystal wasn't working. Oh well, I guess the mystery will continue for now. Not a big deal because I have other boards, but I like the challenge of trying to diagnose the hardware problem

Re: Communication to the STM32 fails -- something's broken
I've returned to trying to fix this board after a year :) What's the pinout of the X1 crystal? I'm not seeing any voltage on any pin on the broken board and am wondering if the crystal is broken, or if it's still an STM32 problem (i.e. does the STM32 power the crystal from the PH0/PH1 pins?). I'm th...

Re: Testing different LiPos
Yeah definitely need to be careful. I have a pretty conservative voltage alarm ( <= 3.4v ) set up on my Devo, and use a proper lipo charger to charge. Do you know what the internal resistance of the stock battery is? I have a lipo charger that claims to measure internal resistance, though I have not...

Re: Testing different LiPos
Uh oh. The weather has gotten nicer and I've gotten outside to do some pretty aggressive FPV/acro flying on my crazyflie -- turns out I don't think I can recommend these batteries anymore. The voltage sag is pretty extreme under full throttle with my 25mW cam/vtx strapped on top, and the copter can'...
