Re: Z-Ranger deck not recognized in VM client

Now in addition to not recognizing the z-ranger deck, it also doesn't receive commands from the gamepad at all EXCEPT for the 'altitude assist' command, which sets the throttle to 50% and can't be adjusted. It also doesn't recognize battery life or pitch/roll/yaw in the displays in the VM, so I don'...

Re: M2 and M3 lights stuck on

Update: I fixed it somehow by flashing the firmware ~10 times, and it worked the last time I tried it. So to anyone having this problem, flash the firmware until it fixes itself via magic.

Crazyflie 2.0 cfclient flight data and battery life displays not working

I have 4 separate crazyflie 2.0 quadcopters which I connect one at a time to the virtual machine provided on the startup website. I started having problems a day ago where the crazyflies would connect to the VM but then it would not show battery life, pitch/roll/yaw on the display, and I couldn't se...

Re: cfclient for linux doesn't work

I have tried launching the command in the source folder, and I have just now tried to launch the command you gave me. Both of them fail with the output being 'command python setup.py egg_info failed with error code 1 in <directory>.' Then it stores the debug log for failure in pip.log, which I can't...

Re: M2 and M3 lights stuck on

The crazyflie is recognized by the client but it refuses to connect, not getting past the 'connecting' stage. The terminal is continually printing out 'resending for pattern(93, 5)', occasionally interrupted by 'Dongle reported ACK status == None.' Edit: It finally stopped trying 10 minutes later an...

[SOLVED]M2 and M3 lights stuck on

I had the error with my crazflie 2.0 where the M2 light is solid blue, and thought I had fixed it by following the steps in a previous thread I found and flashed the firmware by getting into bootloader mode. However, when I clicked restart in firmware mode the M2 light came back on full, joined by t...

[SOLVED]cfclient for linux doesn't work

After having some trouble with the virtual machine and the z-ranger deck I decided to try and download the native client for linux to see if that would work any better, or really work at all. I'm running Ubuntu 14.04 and ran the exact commands given on the 'Getting started with Crazyflie 2.0' websit...

Z-Ranger deck not recognized in VM client

I can't use a z-ranger deck i bought on one of my crazyflies because the VM does not recognize the option to switch to height-hold mode. It greys out height-hold and only lets me choose between position hold and altitude hold. I have three other crazyflies that all work fine with the same firmware, ...

Software doesn't recognize height-hold assisted mode

I'm using the virtual machine that was recommended by the 'getting started' webpage, i've reinstalled it on my system once, etc. I have multiple Crazyflie 2.0s and only one Z-ranger deck. When I attempted to put it on another of my crazyflies, the software did not recognize the hand-held assist mode...
