Re: Crazyswarm Hovering (hello, world).

Hi!

Even though the Crazyswarm is tightly connected to the Crazyflie, it is more likely that you will get better and faster help in the CrazySwarm support channels. I think https://github.com/USC-ACTLab/crazyswarm might be the right place for this.

Good luck!

Re: Logging time onto sd card

Great that is worked out!

Good feedback, I added info about the required file system to the SD-card deck docs.

Re: PyQt question: Connect the X button to a function in a Tab

Qt is not my strongest topic but you could try to do something from https://github.com/bitcraze/crazyflie-clients-python/blob/master/src/cfclient/ui/main.py#L577-L580 This function is called when the client is closed. The suggested solution in StackOverflow looks like a better solution since everyth...

Re: Mellinger controller and high_level_commander class

Hi! The Mellinger is mainly useful for very good positioning systems, like mocap. It is very sensitive to errors in the estimated position. You can always try to see what happens :-) The HighLevelCommander can be used with a Flow deck if you want to, it is just a thin wrapper around the high level c...

Re: Confusion regarding frames of reference

Hi! The roll/pitch/yaw in the picture with the plane does not look completely correct to me. The easiest way to check is probably to connect the Crazyflie to the client and observe the numbers in the lower part of the flight tab when moving the CF around. Roll: positive when lifting the left "wing" ...

Re: Hold altitude regardless of sensor readings?

Hi! This is a problem that has been discussed a few times before, unfortunately I can not find any references right now. Unfortunately it turns out to be more complex than one would think initially and so far we have not seen (or managed to write) a working solution. You could try to detect it from ...

Re: Some small questions about "Mellinger " controller

Hi!

The ROS driver and the Mellinger controller were contributed by the people at Crazyswarm, you might get a better answer if you post this question there instead?

Re: Cannot detect V1 Basestations

There is a bit of a mix up here. The V1 base stations should not be connected the the computer with a USB cable at all, unfortunately they do not have support for that. Configuration of the V1 base stations is done with the button on the back and the resulting mode is displayed on the front of the b...

Re: Flying directly at wall in "Hover" mode

Other interesting tests would be to check:
1/ Does it fly well without the flow deck?
2/ If you lift it up with the flow deck mounted and move it around a bit, does the X, Y, Z at the bottom of the flight tab in the client change accordingly?

Re: Cannot detect V1 Basestations

I had another look and there is actually documentation for V1 but it is not very visible. There are two tabs in the https://www.bitcraze.io/documentation/t ... right-mode section, but it is not very visible. I'll try to improve it.
