Re: android client app

greggius did a test with the accelerometer (using the android phone to simulate a joystick to the PC) in this thread . Yep, sure did. Flight performance with accelerometers is pretty good; I find it just a little bit harder than using an xbox controller, although I probably just need more practice. ...

Re: Android accelerometer joystick

Sounds good. When I have the time I'll give the Linux version a try.

By the way the frame v1.6.5 weights 3.3g.

Nice work! No, I missed the printed washer before. Even if it's simple it will definitely help protect the bearing.

Re: Housing for the Crazyradio Dongle

Tobias - I thought since you were going to have printed motor mounts you had a printer? Unfortunately not :( Money has been pretty tight for this project but hopefully we will have a chance to get one now. We have been ordering all our printed parts at Shapeways for our prototypes. The quality has ...

Re: MPU6050: Self test acc Y [FAIL] - motor problem?

Hi idhorst, Turn on the Crazyflie then start slowly moving it around. Connect to it and send me the same command prompt output. If the Y output still measures 0.0 then it is probably broken. Could you try this and post the output. It's important that you start moving it just after you power it on. /...

Re: VirtualBox on OS X can't use a PS3 controller :/

Hmm, I must have been a bit tired and missed the headline where it said OSX :(

Unfortunately we don't have access to a any computer with OSX on it so I can't test this. You could try to set it up directly in OSX as well, here are some notes on how to get going.

Re: Stable flight problem

Nice description jtang613 :D If you place it on the floor and just push the thrust without compensating the roll/pitch it might be a bit tricky, it's not that stable. Especially just as you take off it tends to drift in some direction. We have been fine-tuning this but there's still work to be done....

Re: Charching: Green Led does not lid solid

Hi falstaff, This might be a bug in the firmware. If you are connected at the same time as the Crazyflie is charging then the green LED pattern seems to be wrong. If you try disconnecting from the Crazyflie then the green LED should be fully lit (if the battery is fully charged). The reason for the ...

Re: android client app

I agree it's pretty hard to control using the on-screen joysticks. If you do a test using the phone sensors I would really like to test it :D

Re: Crazyradio not enumerating on bus

However still no joy. It blinks the leds once and then goes dark. Running the client on the RPi doesn't show it available as a connection. What logs or anything can I send you to help troubleshoot this. When running the cfclient from the terminal there should be log messages printed. Could you post...
