Re: Prop Guard for CrazyFlie 2

Sure, I could. What we've found from buzzing a few CFs around at home and work, the z-axis isn't that important for protection. We frequently hit the ceiling, and there is no damage due to the light weight of the CF2. But if enough people want some pillars on the frame, I can make it. Let me know! ;)

Prop Guard for CrazyFlie 2

If you have a 3-D printer, you can download the STL file from Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1151252 I created this based on a different model, and modified for the CF2. Note this will not fit the original CF. Printed on a Flashforge Creator Pro, 0.4mm nozzle diameter, BPA plastic. No...

Re: Simple analog switch from expansion header?

Success! :D Thank you so much for your help. Here is my steps, for anyone else to repeat: 1. Get setup on the Oracle VirtualBox, so that you can build and flash the latest crazyflie 2.0 firmware. I won't go into detail here, you can find this on other threads. 2. Edit the config.mk file (mine is fou...

Re: Simple analog switch from expansion header?

Thank you for your response! ;) I can compile and flash firmware OK, and I added the following file to the crazyflie-firmware/deck/drivers/src directory. It compiles with no errors (I added the file to the Make), and flashing is successful. #include <stdint.h> #include <string.h> #include "stm3...

General QA thread

Please let me know if there is a place to post suggestions about improving minor software/documentation items. In the meantime, I hope no one is offended if I nitpick some spelling, etc :D I would like to help improve the overall quality, and these are only very minor suggestions. 1. crazyflie-firmw...

Simple analog switch from expansion header?

Hello, I am new to CrazyFlie 2.0. Thank you everyone for the community support! I am only experimenting with what can be accomplished. I have researched the forums, but did not see a post about my topic. I have a simple bulb light that requires 2.6-5 VDC. I have connected it to the CF expansion head...

Re: LED ring PC client interface

Hi, Thank you for your response. On the Windows 8 machine, the CrazyFlie client is 2014.01.0. The documentation suggests that for this version, the Expansion Boards panel https://wiki.bitcraze.io/doc:crazyflie:client:pycfclient:index should be available. On my attached screenshot, you can see that t...

LED ring PC client interface

Hi, I have a CrazyFlie 2.0, which I have configured to work on two different laptops. One is Windows 7 and the other is Windows 8. I installed the CrazyFlie client software on both laptops, and I am able to control the CrazyFlie with both machines. I also have the LED ring expansion board. On the Wi...
