Re: Crazyflie 2.0 Tipping forward when fpv added?!

It might be that VCC is overloaded. Have you been able to measure the current consumption to the FPV rig? . Checking with a meter set to Amps between VCC and step up VIN (instead of the wire) would be a good shout. As a thought... (I'm not sure, maybe Tobias could insight?) what about taking power ...

Re: (Hopefully not) Problem with IMU?

Tobias, To be honest I'm a bit lost. I've had a few different firmwares in there and all are giving weird results. basically I was running with the latest Git firmware (modified by me to enable LED effect zero as default) and whilst flying the CF flipped and the IMU went crazy. After this I flashed ...

Re: Crazyflie 2.0 Tipping forward when fpv added?!

Tipping would suggest IMU involvement, how is the telemetry in the client?

Maybe could be current related also? What is the FPV rig drawing when running/transmitting?

Re: Crazyflie 2.0 Tipping forward when fpv added?!

Could we have a look at the circuit you've made to power the FPV setup?

Will probably help.

Re: Detecting disconnection of wireless controllers

Another idea might be to check the values of each incoming commander packet, if we get a certain amount of packets in a row with the same data we start lowering the thrust. If there's a real problem with the input device not working any more (like a wireless controller loosing the connection) this ...
