Have you tried pushing the middle PS button when running the cfclient? I also have a PC with WinXP and it displays it like the picture.

It sounds like a problem with Q1. Does the Q1 transistor look or smell burnt? You can test the transistor similar to what is described in this thread. Please report back.

Yes, you can most likely fix it. Do you have a multimeter? My guess is that the M3 mosfet transistor shorted and needs to be replaced. No sorry, but what I do know is that I have kind of the same problem with my Sony Tablet S. It recognizes other USB devices but not the Crazyradio. One guess is that since we use the Nordic Semiconductor USB VID (0x1950) it is recognized as something else. Changing the VID to something else might be...

I'm even surprised the Crazyflie flies that well with only one arm having double motors. That is great and it is going to be interesting to see the final result!
