Re: Bitcraze virtual machine V0.2

Hi arnaud, i tried the VM good job! I have may be two more things. First can you prepare Eclipse for the CF Android development too. And second i found a video instruction to use the PS3 controller over bluetooth in Ubuntu. Check it out :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C2yKiMxisM0 PS3 controller o...

Re: Some questions

We have a plan to make client easier to install but we haven't gotten that far yet :-( As for the whole development environment there's currently no plan to "automate" that install. I would recommend using the Virtual Machine that you can find here: http://forum.bitcraze.se/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=60 Us...

Any joystick with 4 analogue axis should work so you don't need an "official" PS3 controller. Are you still on Windows 7 trying to get the joystick to work? If so, is th...

Re: Controlling programatically

We have started to document the Crazyflie Python API on the wiki. It not finished yet but there are some examples where you get an idea of how the API is used. We did a quick experiment using OpenCV to control the Crazyflie from a PC without using a controller: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLePTRL...

Re: Input (Device) Mods

Good idea. Currently there's no support for switching controller configuration on-the-fly but this will be added in the future. The tricky thing with the implementation for input-devices is to keep it generic, currently the minimum requirement is 4 analogue axis, but in the future there might be sup...

Re: Some questions

When it comes to getting the Crazyflie in the air what you need to do is the assembly, install the needed software on your computer, connect the Crazyradio and a PS3 gamepad then you are ready to fly. We are working on an installer but currently you have to install the software yourself. Have a ...
