Re: Crazyradio on Win7/virtual machine

Hi Alex, Did you try to run the client outside of the VM, in Windows? For the VM I can't see what could be wrong: there are not real drivers on linux, as soon as linux recognize the Dongle user mode programs (like ours) should be able to use it. Could you try to type that in a terminal to test if th...

Re: Getting flying with a Macbook Air

It's strange they state one of their goals is to use open source software, yet the preferred method requires Microsoft Windows. Would Ubuntu be and easier to get going than OSX? We mostly tested on Linux and we tried to make it as easy as possible for Windows (installing all dependencies and runnin...

Re: Debugdriver for UI testing

This is a debug link and will always be displayed in addition to detected copters. From the Log it seems that the radio dongle was not connected or installed when the client is launched. If the radio is connected properly when clicking the "scann" button "scanning" will be displayed for about a seco...

Re: Crazyradio on Win7/virtual machine

Hi, Just after connecting the dongle to the VM, can you open a terminal window and type "dmesg", it should display a lot of text ending with: [ 164.020130] usb 2-2: new full-speed USB device number 3 using ohci_hcd [ 164.297289] usb 2-2: New USB device found, idVendor=1915, idProduct=7777 [ 164.2972...

Re: Crazyradio not enumerating on bus

Great! This is actually a bug in the dongle that makes it unable to enumerate on USB3 controllers (at least on Linux and Mac). As we have had problems with USB3 and Linux I was wrongly assuming that it was a Linux problem and we avoided using the USB3 ports . I found where the bug is and am pu...

Re: Crazyradio not enumerating on bus

If the LEDs does not go off it means that the dongle is not enumerated. I have not seen this problem on Mac previously. For your Linux log it look like you connected the dongle to a USB3 port, we have seen problems with Linux and USB3. Could you try to connect it to an USB2 port? Do you have a Windo...

Re: .Net (c#) Library for Windows

It would be very interesting to see other language bindings!

For USB the Python client is using libusb and there seems to be a C# port for it: http://libusbdotnet.sourceforge.net/V2/Index.html
The API seems to be very similar to python so you can look at crazyradio.py for examples.

Re: Simulator?

It is something we have been thinking about for a while but never had time to look into it. having a simulation model of the Crazyflie is something I would love to see happening! If it is realistic enough it would definitely help training to fly the crazyflie. The hardest currently is to control the...

Re: Crazyflie development virtual machine

Hardware in the loop would be very cool to have and very useful for development (qemu in the loop would be nice as well for development ;-). I see at least two things we miss to make it possible though: fast comminication with the copter (USB has been tested but never finalized) and a simulation of ...

Bitcraze virtual machine V0.2

Hi all, I finally got time to post the virtual machine :). This is a very early version and all feedback are welcome. I made a torrent for the image available there: http://tracker.bitcraze.se/torrents/UbuntuBitcraze_0.2.ova.torrent To install the virtual machine you need to have virtualbox installe...
