I was curios if this could replace the existing battery on the Crazyflie?

Seems like it could work but wanted to confirm with some of the architects.

Re: Broken Power Button on Crazyflie
You were correct. I managed to bridge the two legs on the IC. Did a little re soldering magic and got it to power on with out being plugged in. Thanks again so much for your help tobias. Your attention to detail and provided pictures were very much appreciated. More importantly, thank you ...

Re: Broken Power Button on Crazyflie
I tried to solder it and no go. I also tried to glue it and no go. I am this bad at soldering? This seems like a trivial fix. Here is the CF in current state: 2014-06-26 09.47.41.jpg (The pic is a little miss leading, but I did solder it to 1 n-000091. Also I'm using the smallest solder tip I have a...

Re: Broken Power Button on Crazyflie
The OFF pad came off when I tried the previous described method. I don't know if it also ripped up the metal wire leading from n-000091 to the 1 n-000091. Here is a pic: 2014-06-25 07.01.02.jpg Do I need to also solder a wire in this little canal it created to make proper contact to this newly creat...

Re: Broken Power Button on Crazyflie
So I got my spare power switches and re soldered one on there. When I sodered off one of the sides, the whole metal piece came out (pretty sure I needed a smaller tip for better contact :o ). It exposed the black board so there was only one metal piece to soder to. I doubt I am getting good contact ...

Re: [VIDEO] Fully Autonomous Flight - Working Proof of Conce
Well you have impressive modifications to the Crazyflie. A kludge of a quad-copter, but still very legit. I saw some of your other youtube videos and they spark a lot of interest. Informatics is a cool area of study and to be doing it with a computer vision group is a unique opportunity. Thanks for ...

Re: [VIDEO] Fully Autonomous Flight - Working Proof of Conce
Yooooooo bro! Used python for the control stuff and for the client, but all the SLAM stuff is written in c++ using eigen for the linear algebra stuff. Speed is really important here, it only just runs at full speed in c++. Note the code is not really optimized and not parallelised at all. Nice. We p...

This is really cool. Did you use Python to develop the openCV client? Did you make those mounts to hold the camera?

Re: Broken Power Button on Crazyflie
I reviewed some of the other posts and the parts can be found here:

So now how can safely remove the broken switch and resolder a new one?
