Re: Battery life
The pressure sensor can seem pretty random at items. Is this observation repeatable? Most of the time its external environmental influences - air conditioning being turned on, someone opened a window in another room in the house, weather conditions outside, etc etc. Well, i've only ever tried it tw...

Make sure to update both the client and firmware to latest version.
AFAIK, the telemetry format changed a bit in the last version(s).

Re: Did anyone get the Cylon Crazyflie adapter to work?
Hah, i was actually intending to do the same (visualization using d3).
For some reason, though, i got no control ever and telemetry only sometimes.
Still haven't tried Kikill's depo, though (too much stuff going on at work).

I strongly suggest using brew instead of macports.
I got things working in no time with brew.

Re: 3D hover with wide FOV optical flow
Just a suggestion, but tethering the cf (either to a jig on the ground or to the ceiling) in 3-4 points might be a good idea during these early stages.
You should still see the effects of the algorithm, without crashing and snagging things.

I'm having a nagging feling it might be some kind of an issue with libusb nodejs bindings on Mac OS.

Re: Battery life
I guess that explains the behavior perfectly then, as the oscillations show up about 2 minutes before shutdown (meaning it never settles, as observed).

Re: Did anyone get the Cylon Crazyflie adapter to work?
Cylon uses aerogel. Anyways, no luck there either, it's aerogel that actually hangs waiting for (something). Didn't have much time to debug, unfortunately. It finds the cf, gets the URI, then something in the connect method hangs. The weird part is, the output/behaviour are not always the same. Some...

Re: Battery life
Heh, serves me right for not reading the wiki carefully enough  It's all there, black on white: The I term is just the integrated error - and is very very very important as it makes up for the voltage drop. The P and D term are reset every time hover mode is entered, and the I term is only res...
